# How to find the Agile Estimate app

Go to Jira “Apps” menu and find the “Agile Estimate” app - that’s the home to start estimating:

# Scrum board

To start estimating simply find your Jira Scrum Board and then choose either Backlog or one of the sprints:

**The estimation field specified in the Scrum board’s settings is used by default:**

The estimation field used by the Agile Estimate app can be changed in the app’s [settings for the particular board](https://brokenbuild.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AE/pages/3203694603/Settings#2---Estimation-field).

# Kanban board

To start estimating simply find your Jira Kanban Board and then choose of columns on the board:
